How to Find Darts Similar to Yours

Use weight, length, diameter, shape and grip position to find darts that preserve what you like about your current set.

Use weight, length, diameter, shape and grip position to find darts that preserve what you like about your current set.

Identify the exact model and weight

Manufacturers often change dimensions between weights in the same range. Match the full model name and your exact weight before comparing another dart against it.

Prioritise length and diameter

Length affects where your fingers can sit, while maximum diameter changes the feel in your hand and the space available for grouping. Small measurement differences can be noticeable even when the weight is identical.

Keep weight within a sensible range

Start at the same weight. If there are too few matches, compare one gram either side rather than making a large jump. This preserves more of the rhythm and feedback you already know.

Match the shape and grip position

A similar silhouette is useful, but the grip must also sit where you hold the dart. Look for cuts or milling in the same front, centre or rear zone rather than comparing grip level alone.

Treat similarity as a shortlist

A specification score cannot see your release or entry angle. Use it to reduce hundreds of products to a handful of sensible candidates, then test where possible.

Use DartSpec’s explainable matches

Select your current dart in Find My Darts. Results are ranked from verified weight-specific measurements, and the comparison view lets you see exactly which details changed.
