Understand how dart weight changes feel, rhythm and control.
Lighter darts
Lighter darts can feel quick and responsive and often reward a positive throw. Players who naturally generate plenty of pace may enjoy that feeling.
Heavier darts
A heavier dart can feel steadier and encourage a more deliberate rhythm. That does not make it inherently more accurate—it simply provides different feedback through the throw.
Test weight properly
Do not judge a weight from a handful of throws. Use it across several sessions and look at the pattern of your misses. A useful weight is one you can release consistently without consciously forcing the dart.
Weight isn't the whole story
Two darts at the same weight can feel completely different if one is short and wide and the other long and slim. Balance, dimensions and grip all change perceived weight.
